The LCH-IV study is an open, multicentre, controlled, prospective study for therapy and therapy optimisation in patients with Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). The target group are children and adolescents less than 18 years old first diagnosed with LCH or at the time of any event as progression or reactivation. Due to the complexity of the disease presentations and outcomes, the LCH-IV study seeks to tailor treatment based on features at presentation and on response to treatment, leading to seven strata.
